Bart Carrade – Owner
Digital Craft PDX offers affordable small to large batch, light manufacturing using professional, industrial quality CNC laser equipment primarily in wood, plastics and other natural or specialty materials, (metals: marking only – no cutting).
More than just a job shop we’re professional industrial/product designers and crafts people with the broad expertise needed for exceptional project results and flexibility required by creative businesses.
We process work – Mon-Thurs 10am-6pm – closed Fridays for Studio Practice.
Some things to note when inquiring about your project:
- Please review the relevant process pages and FAQ before submitting an inquiry.
Prepped files are required for utilizing our digital fabrication services.
- Email is best to start as our shop is usually quite noisy with constant production and projects can be complex to introduce over the phone without references.
- Be thorough and make sure to include all relevant details available, a file, picture or drawing no matter how simple truly says a thousand words.
- For exact piece costs a “cut-ready” design file is typically required please format your design file to our machine specifications on the file prep page.
Sending us an informative email is the best way to tell us about your project – please include any files or images that will help us respond to your inquiry. If you’re seeking a quote please adjust your file as possible to the specifications laid out on our file prep page.
We do our best to respond to quote inquiries within 24 hours – occasionally it may take up to 48 at our busiest moments.
Reach us by phone.
However, know that our shop is often very noisy, or we may be busy with other clients.
If you miss us please try back at your convenience or send an email and we’ll get back to you.
Thank you for your understanding.
*We don’t schedule any meetings without first verifying a projects appropriateness for our shop via email.
